According to LG, the J&K administration plans to re-examine JKPSI posts in October 2022, Manoj Singh

Furthermore, no new applications will be accepted, and only those who previously applied will be able to take the exam.

Previously, the jkspi exam was tainted by corruption, and the written test was cancelled.A new exam will be held for the same number of positions and applicants.

In a recent interview with a BBC Journalist, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha stated that the Re-Examination for 1200 Sub Inspector Posts will be conducted by a special team comprised of members from the JKSSB, PSC, and Administrative officials who will lead the Re-Examination for the SI posts in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.

Previously, LG Manoj Sinha cancelled the Result Cum Merit List for the JKSSB Sub Inspector Posts due to irregularities and corruption allegations, and the investigation was turned over to the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation).

Meanwhile, the CBI charged approximately 33 people, including administrative officers, for allegedly being involved in the Sub Inspector Recruitment Scam. It was also alleged that approximately 120 crore rupees were gained by selling question papers to aspirants in both Jammu and Kashmir regions
