Over 95,000 Students Ready for JKBOSE Class 10th Exams Starting Tomorrow
Board Ensures Fair and Smooth Conduct Across J&K
Srinagar: Around 95,000 students from across Jammu and Kashmir will appear for their Class 10th annual exams starting November 3. The JK Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has set up 994 exam centres in the Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division to ensure everything runs smoothly.
According to JKBOSE, the exams will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Out of the total students, 68,804 are from Kashmir’s 10 districts, while 25,224 are from the winter zone districts of Jammu. In addition, 660 students from Kargil and 95 from Leh will also appear for the exams.

The Board has made strict arrangements to ensure fair and transparent exams. Supervisory and invigilation staff have been assigned duties and given clear instructions to maintain discipline and honesty during the exams.
Special vigilance squads will also visit exam centres to check that all rules are followed properly. They have been told to act politely while performing their duties.
To avoid any kind of disturbance, district administrations have been asked to impose restrictions near exam centres.
JKBOSE has also advised students to wear warm clothes, especially in hilly and cold regions, to stay comfortable during the exams.
The Board assured that all necessary steps have been taken to conduct the exams in a peaceful and fair manner.
