DSEK Announces New School Timings for Kashmir Division
Srinagar, March 29: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a notification regarding the change in school timings for the Kashmir division, effective from April 1.
As per the directive, schools located within Srinagar municipal limits will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, schools situated outside the municipal limits of Srinagar and in other regions of Kashmir will follow the schedule of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The decision aims to streamline school operations and ensure uniformity in academic schedules across the region. Authorities have highlighted that the revised timings will be applicable to both government and private educational institutions
DSEK has strictly instructed all concerned institutions to comply with the new timings without any deviations. Any failure to adhere to the order will be viewed seriously, and necessary action will be taken against violators.
Parents and students are advised to take note of these changes and adjust their schedules accordingly. The order is expected to bring better management of school hours and smooth functioning of educational activities.
