Jammu Region: A few areas may experience rain showers, while short sunny spells are also likely in some parts.

The weather system is expected to bring widespread rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir. The intensity is going to be higher over Jammu region. A few places may also record heavy rainfall. Expecting sustained rainfall than short heavy rain showers.
17 July:
The activities of weather system are going to decrease. However, some areas may continue to receive rain showers.
18 July:
Rain showers are expected in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

1. The interaction between Western Disturbance and Monsoon may lead to prolonged rainfall. There are chances of Landslides/shooting stones.
2. Extreme higher reaches may record light spell of snow.
3. Rise in the water level of streams and rivers is expected. High possibility of flash floods in some spots.
4. High risk of Cloudbursts.
